Tripe is a raw feeding powerhouse as it retains the natural probiotics and digestive enzymes that are in the digestive systems of ruminant animals. (Ruminating animals, such as cow or sheep, have more than one stomach, swallow their feed and then regurgitate to continue chewing it.)
Green tripe is an excellent source of Lactobacillus Acidophilus, a key beneficial bacterium in your dog’s gut. Tripe also contains the perfect 1:1 ratio of calcium and phosphorus.
